CERTAINE NON RÉALITÉ is a concept that aims to replace the classic visual language and traditional design principles of advertising with a reinterpreted form of representation. The aesthetic of the images is sober yet radical in its efficiency. Clear shapes, lines and compositional choices create a new visual language. The images are tightly framed and carefully composed. They intend to break with our customary ways of seeing, offering a unique and fragmented perspective on our world and the objects that inhabit it. The model becomes a human figure, a personality that stands on its own. They are self-aware, and are looking back at us. The viewer is not given visual power over the depicted figures. Instead, they simultaneously elude and confront us. They resist objectification, revealing something about themselves without becoming personal. There is no gender division in the visual language.
